The food here was outstanding. The waitress that we had was attentive, nice, bubbly, but not over-bearing at all. She checked in a few times, and there was also another person that came around and refilled our sparkling water a few times from the carafe that was on our table. Good service, delicious food. Interesting thing about the outside though - there's no signage saying "Flowers of Vietnam", so that made it hard to locate. But other than that, the vibes once inside were nice and chill.

The food was great. The service was excellent. The waitress helped us order since it was our first time. Parking is a little difficult. Otherwise 5 stars

One of my favorite places. I came with a group of foundation but bring my boyfriend back next week for his first time. Love the food and the music although doesn't go with the scenery it is always on point.

Are turn to a delicious restaurant. Visited during the dine detroit week and then food was fantastic. Also observed others orders that make me want to return tomorrow to order!( I'm talking about you , chicken wings!). Accessibility was good and bathrooms were spacious and had railings. I won't wait sinking between visits!! Delicious!

A bit belated of a review, but better late than never on this Detroit gem! I love Flowers of Vietnam so much! The ambiance here is so classy, while not being overly intimidating. It still gives a warm, intimate kind of vibe, while also being clean and with a hint of personal touches as well as nods to this building's history in Detroit. I came here to dine during their New Year's Eve event, which they have been doing every year at least for the past 4-5 years that I'm aware of. The event consists of a pre fixe menu (5 courses I believe) and it always sells out, so definitely make sure to pay attention to their emails and social media for when reservations open for this. It runs $130 per person and the food is honestly so stunning and I think it's worth the money given the celebratory nature of it all. In general, Flowers of Vietnam, if you come on any other day to dine, is going to run high, price-wise. It is definitely more for special occasions and it will not disappoint. Every dish here is so delicious and they make all of them so so well! The dishes are all a multi-sensory experience of layers upon layers of different flavors, textures, and spices and are rooted in so many Vietnamese dishes, with elevated and modern flairs as well. The service here is also spectacular. On NYE, dinner took much longer (around 3.5 hours from sit down to grabbing our coats and leaving) than a normal service night. So that is definitely the exception to the rule. My friends who have been to the NYE dinner in the past as well said that typically that dinner will run at 2 hours, but I think this past NYE, they might've been a bit short staffed, but we were happy to spend quality time with one another and we still ended up finishing about 1.5 hours before midnight! Preston, the front of house manager, is genuinely one of the kindest and most delightful people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting! He is so friendly, so accommodating, and so intentional - truly a master at his job and I wish every customer-facing position had a Preston! I'm glad that he is the face of Flowers and typically the first person you'll interact with when you walk in because it started and ended our experience off on such a wonderful note! Within our party, I was the only one who didn't drink, so before the dessert course, when they brought out complimentary champagne for everyone, Preston had noted that I wasn't imbibing and brought me out a non-alcoholic bubbly that Flowers had made themselves without me having to remind anyone and I was truly floored and really appreciated this thoughtfulness! It's just one of the many things that I love about Flowers, so make sure to pay this place a visit whenever you're in the area or looking to celebrate somewhere special and unique!

What a little gem in Southwest Detroit. The names of their dishes are confusing but everything we tried was on point. Had a fried fish and a dish called "shakey beef" There were both flavorful and presented nice! The cocktails were beautiful and delicious decorated with real flowers. Environment was casual but upscale! No complains about service either,Im glad I discovered this spot.

This was truly one of the very best meals I've ever eaten. The layers of flavor! The fresh quality, the presentation. Mind blowing. We drove up and it was in Mexicantown and as tourists we did not understand... all the signage was in Spanish but the neighborhood was nice and we were a little early as they open at five. We drove around, looking for the restaurant, but all we could find was a coney island and so I had to call and it turned out that's where they were. No signage. At 5 o'clock, we decided to wait outside the door, and then suddenly other people came up and a huge line developed. All Locals. That's always a good sign! We took suggestions from our wonderful waiter, and everything was amazing. They just kept bringing out course after course, and I could not tell you which one was the best because they were all truly amazing. We had giant prawns, pork belly, shaking beef and Carmelized chicken wings. Stellar. Unbelievable. This is a five star gourmet meal. I can't wait to drive five hours and go back. Highly recommend. Do something life changing! It's amazing and unique and memorable.

I LOVEEEE THIS PLACE.... I knew i was gonna love it the moment i stepped in. The hosts are super friendly and are always accommodating, ensuring that you will be seated as soon as possible. The food is seriously so crazy, i genuinely believe the food is michelin star worthy. Each time i go the food just gets better and better. I love it here so much. During the summer the outdoor dining is gorgeous and calm, it feels clean and relaxing, at the night time it's such a good vibe. Even the interior in the second corridor is BEAUTIFULLY WELL DONE. Minimalistic but with character. Highly recommend this family style dining restaurant. Everything is amazing including the cocktails!!!!
